The last image captured by VZLUSAT-2 satellite

After nearly four years of successful mission sent VZLUSAT-2 its last signal on November 30 and subsequently burned up upon re-entering the atmosphere. 

The satellite was last captured by the German research station Neumayer Station III in Antarctica (November 30, 2025, at 01:40 UTC (02:40 CET) and has fulfilled its mission until the very end. Just a few days before its conclusion, it was still taking pictures from orbit. The final image, taken on November 21, 2025, at 10:27:55 UTC, showcases the mouth of the Elbe River as it flows into the North Sea.
